Advisory Terms

These terms apply to all Cognitive Mapping Sessions and any bespoke advisory engagements. The goal is to keep everything transparent and fair for both parties.

1. Purpose & Scope

The purpose of my advisory service is to enable leaders accountable for AI transformation to better predict their leverage and the dynamic landscape they navigate.

My work focuses on structural insight, not implementation.

The scope of each session is based on the details provided via booking form but can be adapted during the session as needed.

I do not act as a broker for vendors or service providers. Occasionally I may mention partners or types of services that are relevant, but these references do not constitute a recommendation or guarantee.

2. Session Format

Sessions are conducted online via video call.

The format works best with a small group of decision-makers.

In-person sessions or workshops with audiences greater than 12 people are possible by request and may incur an additional charge.

3. Pricing & Invoicing

The net fee for a single 90-minute Cognitive Mapping Session is €1,400.

This includes:

  • preparation based on your submitted booking form
  • the 90-minute session itself
  • a one-time written post-session summary

Follow-up beyond the written summary is not included but can be arranged as part of a separate engagement.

Invoices are provided for every session.

4. VAT

  • Clients in Germany: 19% VAT applies
  • EU business clients with a valid VAT ID: VAT is accounted for by the client under the Reverse Charge procedure
  • Clients outside the EU: services are generally not subject to German VAT

5. Booking & Cancellations

Because I limit my service to two focused sessions per day, your slot is reserved exclusively for you.

If you need to cancel:

  1. 48 hours or more notice – reschedule or cancel with a full refund or credit
  2. Less than 48 hours notice or no-show – rescheduling is possible, but a 50% late-cancellation fee applies

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. If you are more than 20 minutes late, I may cancel the session and treat it as a no-show.

I may occasionally need to reschedule or cancel a session. In that case, you may cancel at no cost.

6. Payment

Payments are made via SEPA bank transfer within two weeks of invoicing.

7. Liability

My services are advisory only. Implementation is not provided unless separately agreed upon.

Any decisions or actions based on insights from a session or from post-session synthesis are the client’s responsibility.

I do not accept liability for any outcomes, damages, or losses arising from the use of the advice or materials provided.
