About Me

Experience

My professional path spans nearly two decades across AI research, enterprise-scale technology programs, and product leadership. I have navigated diverse environments from small and mid-sized businesses under resource pressure to large, multi-party programs with complex governance and long delivery horizons. This includes experience at European and U.S. companies, including in regulated contexts.

Time and again, I’ve worked in settings where technical decisions carried strategic, financial, and organizational consequences. I continue to gravitate toward roles where I make complex systems legible enough to act on: clarifying goals, mapping dependencies, translating technical uncertainty into decision-ready options, and helping teams align execution with purpose rather than wishful planning.

I could not have succeeded in this without my relentless drive to navigate between disciplines and empathize with diverse stakeholder perspectives, finding common ground and exploring possibilities where incentives, resources, and narratives don’t neatly line up.

Perspective and Mission

Over time, I began mapping the broader patterns recurring across complex systems in business, society, and nature. Grounding my insights in scientific frameworks from information theory to neuroscience to process philosophy, I have lately synthesized this map with my perspective on AI and cognition — phenomena I’ve been exploring and researching since the mid-2000s.

What has emerged is my mission: to help individuals and organizations develop literacy in how they participate in ecosystems of intelligence, and to support them in engaging with that reality consciously, responsibly, and with optimism.

Research and Teaching

Patents

I coauthored several patents, all assigned to Volkswagen Group.

Music

Besides science and technology, I have dedicated many years of my life to creating music for film and TV — a parallel craft and creative outlet that keeps me attentive to narrative, emotion, and the aesthetics of unspoken meaning.

Across technology, science, and music, my work requires the same thing: weaving trajectories of entangled variables through time, finding not simplicity but a rich kind of harmony I call coherent complexity.
